A claim for investors in CBL Corporation Limited in a litigation-funded proceeding against the company and its directors.
Fionnghuala and Kate acted for shareholders of CBL to recover the significant financial losses they suffered following the company’s collapse in early 2018. The claim alleged that defects in CBL’s initial public offering documents, and subsequent breaches of continuous disclosure obligations, caused shareholders to suffer loss.
On 28 September 2023, the Auckland High Court approved distribution of the settlement funds. Distribution has been completed in accordance with those orders.
